Museums hold the memories of a nation and pass them down from generation to generation. In celebration of the International Day of Museums, the DCT Team in Al Ain chose to highlight three of their cultural destinations: Al Jahili Fort, Bait Mohammed Bin Khalifa, and Qasr Al Muwaiji. This celebration recognizes The Power of Museums and their impact on local communities, which is a reflection of the power of the nation itself.
Based on our research and insights, we tailored an event specifically for the local Al Ain community. We collaborated with an Emirati producer to create scenes from bygone days that celebrated each museum and its unique representation.
The scenes were connected to form a storyline that took visitors on a journey. The entry point was a map that displays the locations of our three museums. Visitors were required to correctly answer three questions at each location in order to proceed to the next one. This created an interactive and informative atmosphere where everyone was engaged.
